Settling in Los Angeles all the way from Toronto, Canada, after attending UCLA, Hannah always knew horses were her first love. So it was fated that many years after working for and teaching the polo community within Los Angeles, she would transition to running a full service polo program!
Her children (who have long since outgrown this photo!) didn't want their favorite pony, Cafe Zurich, to have the traditional polo pony mane. Hence, history was made and the HYT Polo Logo was born!
Though Cafe has officially retired, she can still be seen around the barn teaching young children and occasionally on the field making sure the ref is making the right calls!
JuanJo is an American 2-goal player who began playing at the age of 15 at the Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, CA.
A second-generation player and horse trainer, JuanJo has played all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Texas, Washington, and a 7-year period piloting (riding and training) at Zacara, one of the winningest polo teams of the early 2000s.
JuanJo is super excited to be returning to California this spring to join the team at HYT Polo in Los Angeles, playing at the LA Equestrian Center and the Will Rogers Polo Club. When not with HYT POLO, he plays and is club manager for The Careyes Polo Club in Mexico.
This is Neto's fifth year with HYT!
No stranger to playing himself, he has cared for and maintained just a few best playing ponies!
